The heart of MA D&BC began with a simple idea: to help people thrive through better spaces. One of our first projects was during my interior design internship, where I helped a couple organize their two businesses that shared a single, chaotic space. By restructuring the layout and operations, both businesses grew significantly—igniting my passion to combine design and business strategy to create real impact.

We are led by Maria Alvarez, who brings over two decades of architectural experience from Venezuela, combined with education and recognition in the U.S. She holds multiple degrees in interior design, hospitality, and small business entrepreneurship—providing us with a holistic understanding of how design and business support life.
